Dr. Haverland has committed his career to education as a middle school science teacher, curriculum coordinator, principal, and professor.  He supports educator and student safety and risk management through ethics trainings; volunteer opportunities including Crisis Text Line, Court Appointed Special Advocacy; and local, state, and national advocacy. He hopes that through education, awareness, collaboration, and training focused on ethics, law, and dispositions that schools remain a safe harbor for students, families, faculty, and staff.
